We Are LD1

New Jersey's 1st Legislative District is one of 40 in the state of New Jersey. 

​

With a population of 217,000 (2010), 170,000 are of voting age.  

 

The First Legislative District includes:

  • The Atlantic County municipalities of Corbin City, Estell Manor City, and Weymouth Township.

  • The Cape May County municipalities of Avalon Borough, Cape May City, Cape May Point Borough, Dennis Township, Lower Township, Middle Township, North Wildwood City, Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor Borough, Upper Township, West Cape May Borough, West Wildwood Borough, Wildwood City, Wildwood Crest Borough, and Woodbine Borough.

  • The Cumberland County communities of Commercial Township, Downe Township, Fairfield Township, Greenwich Township, Hopewell Township, Lawrence Township, Maurice River Township, Millville City, Shiloh Borough, Stow Creek Township, and the City of Vineland.

Education is fundamental to the idea of America and to fulfilling our nation's promise.

We are committed to ending discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, language, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability status.

Progress Through Partnerships

Supporting Cape May and Cumberland County initiatives toward total recovery for businesses and workers is a top priority. We will keep our ears open and respond to what is needed and necessary to achieve this goal.

Getting Action for LD1's Concerns

Following the party line while ignoring the district's needs are the last things we will do as your Legislators. We will work with everyone in Trenton to fight for the needs of LD-1

The current LD1 representatives have been serving their own needs, showing up for photo-ops, and not serving or listening to  their constituents.

That will change when we are elected.
